Darlene,
Great Question!
The answer is YES.
There are many communities in the Davenport area that are great investment models.
HIghlands Reserve is one that boasts both a Golf course and quick access to the theme parks. Many Europeans Holiday there and there are property management companies that work the bookings for you.
Also just south is HAINES City,Also a nice investor area.
Hope this helps.

HI Darlene

Your question is a good one. There are many homes available in the Davenport area that will work
well as a vacation home. However, you need to understand how the vacation rental home works.

You need to go into the purchase of a vacation home with the intent of enjoying it for your use, and
renting it out to help cover the expenses. It is not designed to be an income producing investment.
Your investment will pay off if you keep the home for several years and sell when the market turns around.

There are ways to help your vacation home get bookings, but you can not depend on your management
company to keep it occupied for you. You will need to help with your own bookings.

Most importantly, make sure you interview several different management companies and ask for references before you settle with one.

Darlene:

It is one of the best places to invest, no doubt. Good inventory, great prices and Disney nearby...who could go wrong. I have leaved in the Four Corners area for 19 years. Recession is everywhere, but this place has continued growing. Big retailers, shopping centers, more new housing.

Sent me your e-mail and I will send you links to all available foreclosures in this area.
