Most builders, at least here in the Raleigh, NC area, provide full one year warranties. Anything after that is at the discretion of the builder. Check the warranty the builder should of provided you at the closing.
If new construction you need confer back to warranty contract from executed sales agreement. Builders may vary based on properties sold difficult for anyone make a statement on your behalf unless all paperwork signed at closing reviewed. Confer with builder, buyers agent, or real estate attorney.
