Hello,
Austin is awesome for families you will be happy there! Due to a relocation from my husband's job I had to move out . I miss it so much, specially the neighborhood I lived in, so peaceful and beautiful. a perfect location, great neighbors, beautiful and safe area. The Uplands in Bee Cave, Texas, 15 MILES from DownTown, it is the considered the Hill Country already. 7 Miles to Lake Travis and beutifully hillie. I am currently leasing my property, however, my tenant is moving oout soon and he has been a great Tenant. I am looking to lease again or perhaps considering selling, you MUST look at my house. We are willing to do short term, short term furnished, long term furnished , or even lease with an opotion to buy. It is gorgeous, plenty of room for the kiddos, great school district, fun and close to much upscale shopping and dining. Honestly, it is a priviliged gated community. Please reply if you would like to see it or if you are interested. Contact us!

Driftwood is a great area, very scenic, lots of trees and Hills, thought it may be too far out of the city for your young family. I'd be more than happy to help you find a great neighborhood that fits you and your families needs. I'm a Realtor with Keller Williams Realty and an Austin native.

If you are a graphic designer and want to create a client base, I'd suggest something more Centrally located in Austin.

Look at austinhomesearch.com for areas that you like and then drive the neighborhoods to make sure that they fit with your desire for a peaceful neighborhood.

Tony - how exciting! Driftwood is an excellent area and has a ton of really unbelievable properties. The landscape and scenerary are outstanding. It is also very close to Dripping Springs. I would be glad to help you look for a property in the area that meets your criteria. I am a realtor(r) with Coldwell Banker United. You can check out my website at http://www.richardhaenke.com . Thanks and Good Luck!

don't know your tastes/priorities other than peaceful -- i live in a centrally located neighborhood called crestview that's got a great energy -- some neighbors are moving out of state when the term is over -- might wanna take a look/"ping" me back -- roy@roydubose.com

If you are going to be doing business in Austin Driftwood will be quite a hike everyday. What is your price range and what size home do you need? Let me know, I am an Austin Realtor and I would be happy to help you find your new home? Its free for you and I can probably save you alot of time and money.

You can do a google search for realtors in that area, search via MLS. Don't lease a property unless you have a real estate agent representing you.
