All property owners SHOULD do credit checks, but many don't. i had to assist some owners in an eviciton process for non payment. The former tenants went out that very DAY &. got another house from some unsuspecting homeowner.

FYI ` we work with many tenants represent lease a family home, all property owners must do a background check, if your credit is below their standards you could have more than a full month as a deposit or denied leasing opportunity.

Work with realtor explain options available individual family residence or search via apartment complexes .

And please be aware that you will need to pass a credit & background check. if this is an issue, you might be better off checking the classifieds or driving around & looking for rental by owner signs.
