Welcome to Trulia. Trulia Voices is a great place to meet potential buyers. So you've come to the right place.
I suggest you find the questions on Voices by keyword or geography and then answer those questions as honestly as you can. Saying you're the local expert and to call you just won't cut it. You need to demonstrate your specialized knowledge in a non-salesly and informative manner.
Engage the buyer or seller in a conversation. Try to connect with them on a more personal level. You want them to get a sense of you who are. We're in a relationship business so repore matters.
Read some of the answers by our top voices and other to get a sense of the culture on Voices. Try not to hard sell. Buyers will just overlook your comment. It's about adding value to the conversation. If you contribute often enough, over time, a buyer or seller will get to see your commenting track record which can help them decide if your the person they feel comfortable working with.
I hope this helps. If you ever have any other questions, I'm here for you.

P.S. I second Jay's advice about blogging. However, some people are not ready for that type of a commitment. Trulia Voices is where buyers, sellers and agents are meeting everyday. It's in my opinion, the best place to be.
