Where can I get a free credit report without a credit card?

As others have mentioned, you can go to which is the FTC approved site that links you directly to the three major credit bureaus. HOWEVER, you will not get quoted to you a FICO (credit score) unless you dish up the extra cash for it!

Like Bruce actually suggested, if you go to a lender.. they will be pulling your credit AND score for free! That way you can get a much better idea of where you are at.

If you're thinking about buying a house, get it from your loan officer who is going to do your pre-qualification for you. They're the best people to help you evaluate it and provide you a score.
