There is an excellent opportunity for you to find answers to all your questions about rehabing and renovating historic homes on April 12 at Thistle Hill on Pennsylvania Ave in Fort Worth. Historic Fort Worth, Inc. has an annual event called "SOLD on historic neighborhoods". There are speakers, information sources, contractors, realtors, just about every resource you could need to help find the answers to all questions you might have. Following the event, there will be Open Houses at homes throughout the city that are located in historic neighborhoods.

I'll be attending this event and invite you or anyone who is interested in going to give me a call. I have sold homes in the Fairmount, Ryan Place, Mistletoe Heights, Meadowbrook and Arlington Heights neighborhoods during the past year. If you're interested in these areas in particular I can help!

I've included the Historic Fort Worth website below for more info. Good luck, and let me hear from you if I can help!

WE work with clients who like older homes, If you have an email address I can forward you pictures for the 1920 properties in that area

I am a realtor, a real estate investor who has purchased homes did the repairs, resold, the cost for fixing up a home is a wide open question depends on what is required. Some of these older properties people have all ready completed some of the work not all.

Depends if the house still has the hardwood floors refinishing those floors that installing hardwood

Depends on the purchase price of the house the amount of money you have to spend if you are looking to resale or keep for several years.

Many factors come into to play prior to making and statement, also consider the wiring and etc.

Contact my office with email be happy to forward properties.
