In addition to what Jim and Rob stated, you might want to contact the Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency. You might be able to rent to renters with subsidized housing vouchers (formerly called Section 8). http://www.shra.org

Other neighborhoods that share the zip code with Del Paso Heights include Hagginwood, Hidden Hagginwood, Robla, and Parker Homes. .

Depending on the square footage, condition, location (immediate surroundings) , size and condition of the yard, parking, (garage, carport , space, or street?) amenities, etcetera. I would estimate rental value between 600 to 800 per side. - If the yard is pet friendly, you will be able to and you will want to earn slightly more if you rent to a pet lover.

Hi, Mita.

The ZIP Code 95838 is the Del Paso Heights area and has a large renter population. From my experience, though, a majority of those renters are families--which would make a 2br home a little more difficult to rent.

To determine what rents in an area are, I recommend a great site: http://www.rentometer.com

The site allows you to plug in an address and some basic rental information (such as number of bedrooms), and then it analyzes online rental ads in the vicinity to give you a low, median, and high rental range for the neighborhood.
