Hi, some sellers don't put appliances if they remodeled a kitchen or flipped the house. The reasoning behind this is why should they spend the money on appliances that the buyer will most likely change. On the flip side if it just so happens the owner is taking the appliances then you have to decide if you are ok with that. It should also be clearly stated up front because if not it can create problems down the road.

You may want to put your own appliances in and start from scratch, this way you know how old they are and can have them all match as well.

The owner may have the language "as is" in the advertising for the house. The owner is not required to have appliances in the house they are selling. Besides would you rather pay the owner for appliances they want in your house, or would you like to use that money to select your own? If you are getting a good deal, just move forward.
