Hi Jen,

You really want to look for a neighborhood and home that meet your needs. If amenities are important to you I would look at Brandon Oaks which features tennis & basketball courts, pond, playground, 2 swimming pools, walking trails and more. If you are looking for more of a starter home, Holly Park would be a good place to look. Holly Park features lower home prices than Brandon Oaks, and also has less ammenities (ie no pool) but does have a pond and walking trails. Both neighborhoods are near shopping, schools, grocery store, etc. I specialize in Indian Trail, NC and I would be happy to assist you with any other questions you may have. Please feel free to contact me with no obligation.

Best of Luck,

Hi Jen,
There are a number of moderately-priced neighborhoods in the Indian Trail area. One of my favorites is actually a small town itself: Lake Park. Lake Park has an Indian Trail mailing address but was designed and developed as a new town. It has housing of all types, including condominiums and townhouses. It has a small town center and is very walkable with parks throughout the town. I've helped a couple of families who wanted a walkable town purchase there. Go to my website listed below and click on the Indian Trail tab. You'll find good information about Indian Trail and Lake Park. Let me know if I can help with more information.

Hello, my name is Lynn Cooper, Broker, NC & SC and you might want to also include in your search for Matthews, and Stallings. Be careful in Indian Trail as to which side of Independence/74 you get yourself on... This can be a huge issue when it comes to traffic and being able to get to work in the morning. Also, home values do vary depending on how easily you can access I-485. There's a great neighborhood called Callonwood just into Union County on the Mecklenburg Line. This is a great little pocket and is located so well in conjuction to Matthews, I-485 and if you need to get Uptown, this will really matter. Also, there are great schools in this area and that's important to any home value, with or without children. Please talk a look at my listing in Callonwood and if you are interested in learning more about this area, please just give me a call. Lynn
