Good luck in your hunt, Dunes
I've represented many buyers and sellers in Gilroy over the years and so am very familiar with the area. I also have many friends who call Gilroy home and are quite happy with the community and what it has to offer. There are beautiful acreage properties in Gilroy that have adjusted significantly downward in price just like the rest of the south Santa Clara County market.
If I were you, I wouldn't hesitate to look at the real estate that the Gilroy area has to offer. If you are looking for a single story on several acres, there are currently quite a few to look at. I just took a quick scan on MLS and there are 91 single family residences active on the market that are single story, on 1 or more acres and located in the south Santa Clara County area of Gilroy, San Martin and Morgan Hill. If I can help you with your search, please contact me.
