How often is your website information updated to show current status on properties, etc.?

Asked by Jessica Hayes, Oceanside, CA Wed Jan 7, 2009

The reason for this question is that my husband and I were looking at a few houses on your site, and the site said that the houses had already been sold. Example: The house we are currently in escrow on. 33653 Carnation Ave Murrieta. We have been in escrow since the 17th of December. Your site states that the house was sold for $293250 on 6/25/08. Why is this and when would it be corrected to show current status?

Some sites are like sister sites. They attach and pull info from another source. There are only a few sites that are actuall current and up to date sites. It is usually ones you have to get from a realtor, like our MLS. In my area there are our MLS and another one that buyers can look at called Listingbook. Those are the only 2 sites in my area that are true and up to date. The rest are only updated if the agents up date them. Some times those can be very up to date and sometimes not.
