Help looking for a nice house around boston

Asked by JamieLu, 02171 Fri Mar 21, 2008

I've been hunting for nice house to buy for a long time in boston, around 350K or little bit higher will be fine. Used to focus on Quincy area, but recently price has raised too much and very few out of few houses in new condition. Basically I'm looking conditions: #1convinent transportaion(***near MBTA). #2 nice and peace(but close to city). #3 Newer house price isn't crazy. #4 good environment for children to grow. Appreciated for your advises.

A couple places to start are dedham, framingham, winchester, natick, somerville, milton

If flexible on commute check out Framingham. There is a ton on the market. Here is a sample:

Hi Jamie, Have you thought about West of Boston? Natick, Framingham and Ashland have some great values, are great places to bring up children and they are on the Commuter Rail to Boston. Check out my web site http://www.EdHughesRealEstate.com and you can search all of MLS. Let me know if I can help.
Regards, Ed

Hi Jamie,
You have picked a great time to buy. There are lots of homes available in the greater Boston Area, at much more reasonable prices than there were 2 years ago. My specialty is finding affordable homes in Somerville, Medford, Arlington, Cambridge, and Boston. From my website you can search todays MLS listings, and have new listings emailed to you as they become available. Some of the best deals are signed before they are publicly available. I am raising two children in Somerville, and encourage you to consider this vibrant town,( and it's suburbs!) as an affordable alternative to Quincy. I'd be honored to help you find a great deal on a home. Please visit me online, or in person. Have a great weekend
