I would recommend several areas in San Diego. Mission Bay, Encinitas, Cardiff, Carlsbad, Pacific Beach. All these areas are great vacation spots for family an individuals. Some ares could get you more than $2,000 a week. Please feel free to visit my website to research the san diego are more.

First consider your price point. The decide inland or coastal. If you are planning on only visiting a few times of year you may want to consider the coastal areas wherein there is a demand for weekly vacation rentals. Areas I suggest are; Pacific Beach/Mission, La Jolla, Del Mar, Solana Beach, Encinitas, Carlsbad.

We have one small area of Imperial Beach on the beach that will allow vacation rentals by the week. Imperial Beach is a family oriented community so we don't seem to get the "kids & parties" like many of the areas do. You can check out our vacation rental website at sandiegovacation.com to give you an idea. Also check out our website at imperialbeachhomes.com.

There are so many great places in the San Diego area that a few more questions come to mind before I could suggest areas: what you'd like to do while on vacation (interests/hobbies), your financial investment range, size of home and the amenities desired. Other factors are the time of year and your length of vacation time that may dictacte your rental income.

You can give me a call or email to narrow down areas that would be of interest to you.

I believe that you would be very happy living near the coast.
Depending on your budget, I think that La Jolla, Del Mar, Pacific Beach, Solana Beach and downtown San Diego would be the best choices.
I live downtown and love it.

Hi Mr. Nader?
You didn't mention a price range, so getting pre approved for a loan (if you are not paying cash) would be advised. I can refer you to some great lenders if you need them. The links below are for Condo/Hotel projects, as you mentioned in your posting. I agree with Cindy Greenwald that Coronado is an excellent place to live and or own a rental. Condo/Hotels, usually have some restrictions, so carefully review the paperwork to make sure that that type of ownership is the best choice for you. The 1906 Lodge is a project in Coronado that should be completed this year. There also may be one unit left in the Hotel Del Coronado Project

Hi Nader,
Del Mar and Solana Beach have good demand for seasonal rentals being close to the beaches and Del Mar race track. Another good area would be La Jolla. Feel free to contact me if you have any other question.

I may be a bit biased but I don't think you could find a place better to vacation than Coronado! We have 11 condo towers sitting right on the Pacific Ocean just steps away from the Hotel Del Coronado. There are 1, 2, and 3 bedroom units ranging from $800K to the upper 2 millions. If you don't like highrises there are plenty of smaller condo complexes throughout Coronado that make wonderful vacation homes as well as generate great rental income. I'd be happy to tell you all about Coronado. Feel free to contact me at 619/971-4584. Cindy Greenwald, Prudential CA Realty

Nader,
I hope you and I have not talked before, but we have been helping so many people with property in the San Diego area. We have three families from Canada traveling over the next 2 months looking at condos in San Diego. This is a great time to purchase in San Diego. There is a lot on the market and we believe this is one area that has begun to level off.
