Aster Place is a community built by Citation Homes. They have been offering three floorplans (Pansy, Poppy and Viola) and they were selling out quite fast at the beginning of 2008. I have taken clients through the models and it's a mixed bag ... some clients love the floorplans and others aren't so crazy about the homes. The quality and craftmanship is not the best (compared to Toll Brothers or Pulte), and I think that these homes will not appreciate to the extent of some other builders. KB Homes is a semi-quality builder -- noted for building to the client's specifications; I believe that KB is selling a little better because they are more well-known and they market the homes better. There is another KB Community located at the corner of Wolfe and Evelyn -- Evelyn Glen. Go check it out with your Realtor.
Good luck and read about my write-up on Bordeaux on http://www.1siliconvalley.com.
They still believe people will pay high $600s for a used sub-par townhome from the 90's, when KB Homes is building newer homes with better layouts and customizations for much less... right next door.
