Tye, Home Buyer in Claymont, DE

I am relocating to South Jersey and had been considering Sicklerville until a family friend infomred me that

Asked by Tye, Claymont, DE Mon Jun 30, 2008

it is not a place where I'd like to be. Does anyone know anything about Sicklerville and if so which neighborhoods should I stay away from?

Sicklerville isn't a town. It is zip code 08081. Almost all of it is in gloucester township and winslow township. Those 2 towns are divided by cross keys rd. You will find gloucester twp schools MUCH better than winslow even the part of gloucester twp that is sicklerville. I think all of Winslow twp is 08081. Gloucester twp, blackwood section is zip 08012 also good schools and not sicklerville. If that is confusing are lucky you aren't going to Washington Townnship in gloucester county. Except that they have excellent schools - but no zip code of their own.

It depends on the area of Sicklerville your looking for. Some of the post offices are considered sicklerville, but are actually Gloucester Twp. which is a very good school system. I can help you with your search if you would like. I'm from the area and know the area very well. I also live in the area. Look forward to working with you.

Did you ask your friend why , have you done the research matter for lifestyle your preference not your friends. Maybe visit the community more often, I know I did that here in Dallas prior to a move took my daughter to the parks, grocery shop and etc. determine if I truly liked the area, attended the Xmas parade and etc. I did purchase in that town

Tye,

I specialize in Sicklerville real estate. You can visit my site at http://www.sicklerville-real-estate.com/ or http://www.southnewjerseyhomes.com. Your friend knows you better than I do of course. That being said they may know what you are looking for in a home and community. It is a great Buyer's market in Sicklerville right now. But in terms of purchasing a home which ultimately means investing your money in real estate you may want to know all your options including neigboring towns where homes values are appreciating. I'm very familiar with the area and as a realtor I cannot tell you a neighborhood is bad or not. I can however give you my professional opinion on where you can make the most out of your real estate investment. Call me anytime to discuss your goals.

Your best bet would be to discuss with your friend his/her comments. What don't they like about the town. Take some time and review online community and school information about the town. There are several websites available to do this. Check out my website and use the community information tab.
