I see this house was just sold, but why does the date say, May 22, and it was just sold in the last few days?

This property is a foreclosure and is now owned by the bank. The bank took possession of the property in May, 2008. It is now actively for sale. Why did you think it "just sold in the last few days?" Is that something circulating in the neighborhood? BTW. the next door home is also a foreclosure on the market for sale. If you are a buyer looking for a home, give me a call. I'm a Realtor in Northern Virginia.

Trulia is providing information from the public tax records. The property wasn't actually sold on May 22; it was foreclosed on by the bank and ownership was transferred to the bank. The property is currently listed for sale. What did you see that led you to believe it had been sold in the last few days?
