Thank you Bruce. I know this is a big community and from the looks of it very beautiful. My concern is the future. Do these master-planned community holds it value? I do apologize if I sound ignorant. First time buyer.

Thank you!

Of all the neighborhoods in Grand Prairie, Mira Lagos would be in my top 4 favorites. 1.) Mira Lagos 2.) Grand Peninsula 3.) Nottingham Estates 4.) Dorchester. Mira Lagos & Grand Peninsula are newer, master-planned communities, and Nottingham and Dorchester are wonderful heavily treed older neighborhoods on the far north side (I live in Nottingham). Mira Lagos & Grand Peninsula are in the highly desirable Mansfield school district, even though they are considered city of Grand Prairie. I have sold many homes in Mira Lagos... one client told her cousin about it and she bought a home down the street, too. Another client from Pennsylvania purchased their vacation home there and plan to retire there after they sell their Pennsylvania house. I'd be glad to set up a new listings notifier custom made for you if that would help!

Wonderful area. It is close to the airport (DFW), near major freeways (I20). Excellent area to raise a family with HOA in place. In minutes you can be at the shops (The Parks Mall) experience wonderful restaurants (PF Chang, Abuelos, LaMadeleins). And where can you live close to the lake (Joe Pool) for such a great price.

Make sure if you are going to purchase a home from a builder you have a real estate agent representing you.

We receive continual emails, and calls on how a buyer thought one thing and builder did something else with an Dallas real estate agent representing you fall under the E & O insurance if something goes wrong. WE know how to talk the trade the builders want realtors to continually return with other clients.

That is a nice area !

Very nice area with good prices in my opinion, but I guess it always depends on your definition of nice.
