Gigi,
John and Gina are both correct, however if you have an attorney, he/she is the person you should be asking these questions. Only your attorney knows the specififcs of your contract and what terms the builder is being held to if any (and you too of course). I do sympathize with you. My first home was new construction, supposed to be finished in June, and I move in on Septemper 3rd.

If you signed and that is the sale price, that is the sale price. Unless you left a way out, the contract price is that you will pay.

Hi Gigi. I answered your other question earlier. What are the specific terms of your contract - is there a backout clause? During attorney review did your attorney address and negotiate on specific issues, such as if the house isn't finished by the date, etc.?
