You need to check with the Local law enforcement agency. They should be able to provide the information you are looking for.

You should check with the local law enforcement agency as well as some of the sites that the other agents answered with. I know some people like the http://www.familywatchdog.us/

Hi Luciana:

One thing I neglected to mention below is that there is a great website called City-Data that has a wealth of information about individual cities. The page for Longmont can be found at the link below. You will have to scroll down below the photos.

Hi Luciana,

Just look at the your local city website and if you can't find it I'm sure you can call the help line or email for assistance.

You can always google "Longmont County Registered Sex Offenders" and "Longmont County Police Reports" to get what you are looking for.

Hi Luciana:

As noted below, for registered sex offenders, you should check with the police department as your main source of information. Checking the local newspaper and its archives can also offer useful information. Sometimes knocking doors and talking to a few neighbors can tell you a lot about the general flavor of the neighborhood.

Public records...
If not, ask your realtor. HE or she can get you all that information .
I always supply my clients with a home analysis of the property of interest.

Hello Luciana!

In addition to the city's website, you can find helpful information through the local newspaper. http://www.timescall.com/crime_map/index.asp

Check the local area government website. There is usually a link provided. You can certainly call your local police department. Also, you can do a search for sex offenders on any of the major search engines.

In Phoenix, information on registered sex offenders can be found on the Arizona Department of Public Safety's website. Crime is a bit more difficult sometimes, but here in Phoenix, there is a website (faxnet1.org) that takes crime data and associates it with a geographic area so that you can at least get an idea of the area's crime activity. You might want to check with a local REALTOR in Denver to see if there are some comparable services locally. Hope this helps.

Here are some more links. Also, call the local police department and county sheriff directly. They will be the best source of information.

I think family watchdog.us is a good one. It has a map with little squares where offenders live and work and also colored by type of offense.
