Joyce, Realtor code of ethics prevents "steering" or saying what is and what isnt a good area. Your best option is to be sure your real estate agent understands the types of neighborhoods you are interested in looking in and looking at many of the available web sites that will give demographical data such as crime, income, proximity to shopping, schools, etc. Welcome back to Wichita....you'll be impressed with our progress! It is a very nice area in the Northeast part of Wichita. The 6500 block would be just east of Woodlawn of 21st (if your familiar with any street names). The Comatara addition as well as Sycamore Village addition are nice mature neighborhoods with homes in the 21-35 year range. There are also several nice condos and twin homes available for sale in the area. To find homes in the area visit my web site at: http://www.KerrySoldit.com and search for zip code 67220.
