How did you make out with your Potomac purchase?
Most buyers don't realize that there are many deals to be had, which are not listed as foreclosures or pre-foreclosures. There are other ways to scout for deals.
Check the link below for a site that exclusively focuses on Potomac Homes that include Foreclosures. It is updated at least 3 times a week and will give you some insight on the bargains (or duds) that are currently in the 20854 zipcode.
There are many opportunities in the Potomac and Bethesda area. There is a great foreclosure in 20817 that shouldn't be missed! I also specialize in bank-owned properties. Hope to talk to you soon and I'm actually going to Canada for Christmas! :-)Christine
I reside in the Potomac Village and would be happy to assist you. Today there were three short sales shown on the MLS: 111808 Seven Locks Rd $480,000; 8606 Bradley Blvd $1,294,000; 11201 Greenbriar preserve $1,800,000. Depending on your price range there are some auctions scheduled that may offer you a good value for your money. Hope this is helpul.
That area has remained fairly stable. If you are looking for the "deals" you need to go further out in to Gaithersburg, Germantown, Frederick and Silver Spring/Wheaton areas.
Homes in the Churchill cluster maintain their values since people always are drawn to that area due to the excellent schools. I raised my 3 kids in the cluster...all 3 are graduates of Churchill High School...they had excellent educations. I know the area well....it is my "backyard"
I did a quick search on the MLS and found 3 short sales: 12202 FALLS RD, POTOMAC, MD 20854-2893
