What can anyone tell me about Golden Gate Estates outside Naples? Good location? Good value? Upscale?

Asked by Deborah, Virginia Fri Feb 6, 2009

Ammenities? HOA?

Thanks

I love it! Been living here for 7 years now. Where I am, there's no crime that I've ever seen, it's quiet, secluded, away from civilization. You can get your plot of land and have a garden, horses, chickens, etc.

It's not too terribly far away from the main part of Naples, but I will tell you this:

For the most part, there's not much but houses East of 951. So, you have to be willing to drive. Nothing is within walking distance.

If you can get past that hurdle, you'll love it here.

Hello Deborah,

All my colleagues gave the right information. Here's a couple of few things I like about Golden Gate Estates.
1 No HOA's, no board of directors deciding what kind of flowers you can plant in your yard.
2 Large lots, at least 1.17 acres, some 2.25 and 5, zoned agricultural, lower taxes.
3 My favorite areas within GGE are: Oakes Blvd and Logan Blvd, these two areas enjoy town living and privacy in the same time, while prices are becoming very reasonable.
Please let me know if you want me to send you a list of homes currently available for sale in Golden Gate Estates.
Best wishes,

I work and live in Golden Gate Estates.

We have small homes to the grand homes. As everyone else said most homes are on at least 1 acre or more. Golden Gate Estates is very large. So depending on where you are in the estates is what you are close to. Excellent values on homes. There are several different elementary schools, middle schools and high schools. We have parks. A Library. We have the Collier County Fair Grounds. This is a host to many different activities from plants shows, Collier County Fair, Weekend Farmers Market to the Rodeo and more. On weekends they also have paint ball, motorcycle lesson and model Airplanes!

Golden Gate Estates is a semi-rural place where you will get to see plenty of wild life!

Some of the developments near GGE are Valencia Lakes, Valencia Golf, Orange Blossom Ranch, Orange Blossom Groves, Waterways, Orange Tree, Twin Eagles. Ave Maria Town and University is close by.

It is a great place to live, work and play!

Golden Gate Estates is more of a lifestyle than an area....it is located further out and most homes are on large lots. This appeals to some and not to others. The best thing to do is to take a few hours and see some homes there. Contact us to set up a date to go and see some property.
