Hi Kerrie!

25 years experience at WHAT? Are you looking for a solid, experienced, mature agent, or are you looking for someone to date? LOL In my "experience," AGE does NOT equal WISDOM. :)

Best of luck to you!

Make sure your 25 year experienced agent is living in the 21st century, technology wise! :)

I was licensed in 1971 and I am 58 year of age. You are right years in the business trumps all.

Wow thats a long time! I have 5 and consider myself seasoned! Most advisors suggest at least 5 years!

I would suggest for marketing plan, pricing and great photos! Some of the older ones dont even use a computur you cant make it in this market with out internet exposure! Look for a marketing edge!

Good luck!

I am just wondering why 25 years, realize that the real estate market has drastically changed during the very last 10 - 12 years, because of the internet and all the technology available, when the agent started out 25 years ago - Everything was different. So I am not sure what the 25 years will bring to the table for YOU!

You want someone who has been in the business for a while a good number of years (5 to 10 would be just fine!!!), is well versed in internet marketing and knows your area well and you trust and can work well with. Someone who is honest about the market conditions in your area and helpful in preparing your home for sale and may be suggesting some staging changes etc. ---

If you like I would love to recommend one of my partner agents in our area of Texas so that you can connect and discuss all the details involved in marketing and advertising your home in today's market which is a bit different from years back... So let me know if you would like me to make that recommendation.

Feel free to e-mail me directly to edithsellshomes@gmail.com and if you e-mail me your current address and a little bit of information about your home I will forward to you the contact information for the agent and pass your e-mail address on as well.

Good luck to you and I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Whether you're looking to buy or sell, you need a real estate professional that works the area you're interested in. Sometimes an agent with 1 year experience will work harder for you than someone with 10, 15, 20, 25 years. It depends on the agent (PROFESSIONAL).

Not quite sure what 25 years of experience brings to the table for someone desiring a successful real estate experience????

Why not 20 years? or 17 years? or someone from an area that had 10 million in gross sales last year?
