You can always submit offer...whether it will be accepted or not, it will be the seller's choice.

you could certainly ask your agent to present an offer for 4.5M. Any contract starts with an offer. If the sellers are not too offended, they might be persuaded to negotiate with you.

It's 6,500s.f. on FOUR acres in Woodside. These type of homes aren't affected by the market. Upper echelon homes can fluctuate wildly, but they don't need to discount to sell. It'll come in due time.

Then you should offer that amount. I am sure there are plenty of agents that would write this for you.
