I don't specialize in Lake Property, but we had 2 family properties that were Lake homes. We interviewed several of the local agents, and found that most of them would jointly market the lake homes locally and to the Chicagoland market. I think at least one of the agents would have co-listed it with an agent in Illinois. We ended up using the local agent, as it was the best for having someone "right there" for taking care of quick showings, following up on leads quicker, and having someone who was able to keep an eye on the home- as it was a "summer home".
