The property Tax rate will depend on a number of things. Location, such Waterfront Property vs non waterfront, What part of town or county you are located in and other issues like the square footage of the home. The miliage rate is different in each zip code.
As far as insurance goes the same issues may apply, Pool,Waterfront and other componants.
The property tax law in Florida has just been voted on on ( Amendament One) and should give home owners in the state some relief. The Homestead excemption wil go from 25000 to 50000 and the save our homes 3% cap will be transferable. I hope this helps.
