I'm going to get alot of crap from others by saying this, but: if you need a coach other than your broker or mentor, you should probably try another line of work. Take good ideas wherever you find them and always be looking, there are a lot of great gurus out there, but paying to do phone calls with a coach who doesn't know you and doesn't know your market is surely a waste of money.
If you need or want someone to shout at you over the phone to pump you up enough to do a job you supposedly love... call me and I'll rip your ear off. No charge.
I may not be the one on here who has been in this business the longest but I can say I was with a coach for 5 years of the 14 years I've been in real estate and my production was helped immensely by a coach and yes, I am a self starter. I'm 41 years old and have never worked for anyone, been self employed since age 18 so it even works for those that are motivated.
That being said I have never used Proctor but I'd say if it fits your style and it works for "you" then check into it. Someone mentioned "too sales pitchy" below - I agree with that in the sense that you need to hone your skills around who you really are - when people try to mold themselves to something else or someone else's pitch because they hear it works they typically fail because its not them. A good personal coach will learn to understand you, your personality and hone his or here suggestions to you rather than a blanket one size fits all.
I would say take a look at your business model and what are you trying to achieve - coaching, books, programs, lead generators are all very different and serve their specific purpose. If you're just looking for coaching than there are many other great one on one coaches out there who can help better than the system you mentioned I am sure.
The marketing side of it - there are so many other avenues here as well outside of the one system to explore - I guess my point is take a look at the advice all the great professionals here took the time to write but also understand who you are, what motivates you and what YOU need to be successful. Many professionals will take a proven process and cripple it by making it suit their personality. Marketing is not about the personality of the business, but the personality of the citizen, the personality of the reader who has been identified as pre-disposed to doing business with you. Confusing these two aspects will result in an ineffective campaign.
Are there additional fees? You bet. There are always additional fees. Top Producer, Trulia, Realtor.com and Craig Proctor provide multiple opportunities to redistribute your wealth. Real estate professionals are part of the food chain. These vendors will keep taking a bite until we are out of business or grow up and do the work ourselves.
What is great about the Proctor system is it's portability. Good copy works in any media. You can have all the websites you want, but if the copy stinks, so will the results. If for no other reason, getting well done consumer specific campaigns, into your library of resources, makes it worthwhile.
I personally have found the Craig Proctor system beneficial to me.....in the manner for which I intended it.
I recommend going on Amazon and buying some books. Here are my top 5:
1. Getting past No, Getting to Yes
2. The E-Myth
3. Swimming with the Sharks, without being eating Alive
4. The Master of Sales
5. The purple cow.
This will cost you 50 bucks and give you some tremendous tools to add to your arsenal. You will have to practice and fail to figure out what works and what does not. If you don't want to fail then spend the $700 bucks and just implement their system. Best
I have not experienced the Craig Proctor system. I listened to his sales pitch, but chose not to do it because it seemed to "pitchy" for me.
I am a huge, raving fan of Brian Buffini. He is an honest, ethical motivator with sound coaching advice. His philosophy is to work by referral and utilize your SOI to build your business. I love it!

I walked out a little early. I tried to ask a question but was told I could not interrupt. The system they were preaching here in Illinois was illegal to say the least. It misled consumers and broke all kinds of license laws here in Illinois. So I guess my advice would be to check with your state to see if their methods are even legal.
Now...I will say this. If modified (which they were not saying to do) the system could follow the rules. The landing page must have the brokerage visible to the consumer and the ads just can not be misleading. If your ad headline says "Beautiful 4BR House" then the ad should follow....what I was finding is people having that as their headline and then the body of the post would be something completely different. That is misleading and illegal.
Best of luck...my opinion there are better coaches out there with better methods to grow your business.

I read a lot of the comments here, I believe the best advice came from Derrick. He was unbiased and had great points about professional, men and women at the top of their game; still using coaches to perfect their craft. Then there was some real bitter people. People that had tried Craig Proctor and had some bitter resolves about the program. One thing for certain and two things for sure, No one things will pleases everybody. I've been involved with a lot of Gurus; people like Mike Ferry, Dr. Frank Christiansen, Joe Stump, Brain Buffini and yes Craig Proctor; and I can say, I've been doing this for almost 30 years, my license is reciprocal in over 20 states. I am currently license in 6 of them. None of them have been a waste of money. However, I have tailor them all to fit me. I have use each of them to hone in on my craft in changing time and changing marketing trends. Each have served their purpose. I call agents that do not perfect their craft Agent 005, license to sell and don't know how. Why invent the wheel, the most successful marketing model is McDonald. They have perfect the art of duplication like no other company before them. Other fortune 500 companies have adopted their model. So ask yourself a question. Why reinvent the wheel; just find the best one out there and duplicate it. Good Luck. By the way (for those that know; that a little of Brain) I am available for one on one coaching. Last comment. Someone mention that you should read these 5 books and caution you that there will be some failures. This advice come right out of the Tom Hopkins books of boring. Move to the Front of the Line
I did much research into the coaching aspect of this business. I even hired one of the best for a period of time. The point I was making was the Craig Proctor system is outdated and I would not waste my money on it. Guess I got off track a bit.
By the way, my first job was hauling newspapers in a wagon to a scrap yard more than a mile from my house. There were no wheelchair friendly ramps back then. And every curb, without fail, at least half of them would fall onto the sidewalk and I had to scramble to pick them up before I got ran over. I was eight years old. I have been self employed for most of my life and am now almost 60.
If coaching works for you then by all means keep doing it. Have a great weekend and don't forget to wish the special women in your life a happy Mother's Day.
I attended one of these seminars when I first got into real estate. I was impressed and came very close to signing up, but decided to keep an eye on another agent in our office who took the plunge. Not worth the $$$.
I liked his ads and the idea behind them, but this is something you can get from a great marketing person who understands the real estate world.
150 per month website cost is high.
