Hello. Knowing which banks owns the property will not really do you a lot of good as banks don't sell to buyers directly. Once the bank takes a property back in foreclosure, they assign the properties to asset managers who hire local real estate agents to sell the properties through the MLS. If the property does not sell through the MLS, they transfer the properties to auctioneers who sell them at auctions at which they sell hundreds of those properties on the same day. While you could try to find out which asset manager was assigned to a property (good luck with that), you will not be able to buy from the asset manager directly. I know that's frustrating, but right now that's how it is.

If you want more updated foreclosure information, you can subscribe to a foreclosure info service (i.e., foreclosure.com, realtytrac.com) for a fee or work with a real estate agent who can access that information and provide you with pertinent info for the properties in which you are interested.

Good luck.

Anything that the Realtors/Brokers get, comes first from the County and therefore if it is not updated in the county, you are not going to see it anywhere else sooner.

If you would like a list of properties in foreclosure that are listed with an agent you are welcome to go to our website.

Can I ask though, why would you, as the buyer, want to do all the legwork and exclude an agent's assistance and guidance?
