Seems very nice - anyone have any feedback?
Site says the home is a 1-2 minute drive to Big Boulder Ski Resort and a 5 minute drive to Jack Frost Ski Area. Lake Harmony is a private powerboat lake that permits fishing, power boating, water skiing, sailing and Jet Skiing. We are located ½ mile from the beach. Lake Harmony has a private sandy beach with a lifeguard, a swimming platform, picnic tables and a beach volleyball court. The home is minutes from numerous summer and winter activities such as skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, horseback riding, paintball, hiking, white water rafting, fishing, hunting, mountain biking, shopping, and golf. Lake Harmony is located 90 miles from NYC & Philadelphia

Lake Harmony is in th eheart of the local ski area as well as State Gamelands and Hickory Run State Park (about 70% of Kidder Township is gamelands or park as a result). There are many communities and each have significantly different recreational ammenities and access associated with them. You do not get access to a beach or the boat docks or swimming through all of them. If any of that is important to you, better to check with a local professional first to be sure of what you are getting. I have lived here (in Split Rock) since 1976 and am a Kidder Township Supervisor so have a good idea of what is going on.
If you have any questions or want to contact us to discuss any specific questions, try any of the following neighborhood websites like http://www.splitrockneighborhood.com or http://www.lakeharmonyneighborhood.com or http://www.albrightsvilleneighborhood.com which all cover Kidder Township local news, events, weather restaurant reviews, real estae and many other topics including area photos, recipes gardening tips etc.

Hi,
I have a home that I spend about half the time in about 10 minutes from Lake Harmony, as well as one in the Western Philly Suburbs. Good rental area, but with many of the homes up here, its best to take a preview ride up to see. Have had friends find places in the area, that was not as nice in person. Between Big Boulder and Lake Harmony, Lake Harmony offers more in the way of boating if the landlord has the access to the marina. Other areas to consider are Towamensing Trails, Brier Crest, and Arrowhead Lakes. Lake Harmony and Big Boulder are close to many restaurants right there within a few minutes. Hit Terra Cottage for breakfast, less expensive than Piggys across the street and food is a little better in my opinion. Mountains Edge, Marthas Cafe and Nicks are also very nice. Martha's is southern cuisine, a little pricy, but if you are craving true southern cooking, its well worth it.

Sounds beautiful. You say you are looking for a rental property. Are you buying it to rent or are you renting it? If you are buying it to rent and it is that close to Big Boulder it sounds like you have found a great property. If you are renting it, sounds like you found a great rental. Is it in good shape? I would want to take a ride to see it before I rented it. There is nothing worse than getting to your vacation property and finding out you wouldn't sleep in the beds or bathe in the showers. Let me know what you think of it. I have a desire to find a home on a lake in the future. If Lake Harmony is as nice as it sounds I will put it on my list of places to check out.
