Dear Victor,
I am a associate broker with Syracuse Realty Goup. Our company is a small indeprendent company whose primary focus is on development, commercial and investment properties. We work with bank foreclosures as well. You have requested a lot of information which I would be happy to provide, Destiny has not yet "arrived" in Syracuse. It has been an on-going struggle for quite some time now. It has affected property values upward and then when it didn't move along as expected, they tended to stagnant for some time. Areas around Syracuse University have a good return on their investement, but also are more costly to purchase. If you would like more information on this area, I would be more than happy to work with you. I have worked with buyers not only from the UK, but from Australia as well. Please feel free to e-mail me at TeamAcker@MyTeamAcker.com or give me a call at 315-664-0714. I look forward to communicating with you.
Sincerely,
Robert Acker

Hi,
I am based in Loughton Essex and am also looking at investing in Syracuse.
I have considered Buffalo and Rochester, but I think that Syracuse looks a better bet (from my research).

If you would like to correspond, as we are both considering the same sort of investment please email me. We may be able to enlighten each other. My budget is slightly smaller than yours.

Syracuse has lesser foreclosure properties. This city no1 in usa not having foreclosure. You could get good return by the way appreciation and rent. I am a real estate representative with Realty USA , a top ten real estate company. You could by HUD (that is foreclosure with FHA), Sort sale, REO ( bank owned properties), and other Federal Agencies. Buying around Destiny may work or not . It all depends. In real estate even 500ft from one location may have difference in value. I have investors purchased portfolio of homes. They collect homes, repair and rent. Please send me your goal, price, number of years to hold, Citizen, or immigrant, investor or first home buyer, commercial or residential properties and many details. I could evaluate your wishes and execute the deal. Please email me: Georgefri@hotmail.com

Hello Mervyn,

First rule in real estate in location, location, location. Syracuse is a great place to invest, but be wary of agents just looking to make the quick sale. My clients are all investors from coast to coast and we don't get them into a property unless the fundamentals are SOLID. I work with single- and multi-family properties, including foreclosures. I am a licensed agent and property manager, as well as an investor and real estate attorney as well. It's important to take many factors into consideration when investing in an area that you are not familiar with. Do not let Destiny USA be your only guide - i manage many properties near that area. Also, there are pros and cons to tenanted/non-tenanted properties. I would be very happy to discuss the details with you and to give you as much information as you need. Please feel free to give me a call any time at 315-299-3326...
