Can a house be in escrow with two different buyers (e.g. in 2 different escrows)?

I answered your other question, the answer is that the only way that the home can be sold is if the first escrow is canceled. As I mentioned before, in most cases the brokers should be able to work this out.

Hello Megan,

It can if one of the escrows is in the process of being cancelled. I have done it where I had an escrow and it was cancelled by one person. Until both parties cancel it, the escrow remains open. The seller can still open another escrow somewhere else but not at the same escrow office.
