Hi Annie,
We have a 2 bedroom furnished condo in the Huntington Lakes complex which we are just about to list with a realtor. Perhaps you may be interested in some info about it and we can let you earn the commision instead of a broker. Let us know if you have any questions. mabonin@prodigy.net
Thanks, Ellen Bonin (from NJ).

Two wonderful places to live. Go to http://www.MarilynJacobs.com, click on a tab on the left that says EXPLORE THE AREA and scroll down to Boynton Beach. Read about the area. Check out the communities. Then do the same for Delray Beach. Next search the MLS for properties. When you are ready to look, I'll be most happy to find you the home of your "dreams"!... Annie, as between Kings Point and Lakes of Delray, both in Delray Beach, I describe Kings Point as being like a Century Village property. Lakes of Delray, although a 55+ community, I find more stylish. As well, the clubhouse which is set to reopen soon, is going through a major renovation, as it was hit during Hurricane Wilma. I heard the price tag on the renovations is $4.5 million, paid for by insurance. To me, Kings Point is depressing, where Lakes of Delray is not. The price point at Lakes of Delray is excellent for what you get, compared to anything else of a comparable size. Of course, you will spend less to be in Kings Point.

As far as Boynton, it has many new developments, as well as older ones. The new ones are country club developments, and there is a lot more land for future development. The price tag and ongoing costs are more than Lakes of Delray, but it is a different lifestyle also. It really depends on what you want.

So, like everything else, the best way to decide is to have a realtor lined up (which I am not) and come down for a vacation. Spend a couple of days running around looking at properties that match the size and price point that you want, and then relax and go over the pros and cons of each to make your decision.

Hope this helps.

Both Kings Point and Lakes of Delray are located in Delray Beach. Kings Point is a gated golf community with villas and condos located east and west of Jog Road between Atlantic Ave and Linton Blvd. You can find units there starting around $ 30K, and going up to the $ 100's depending on the unit. http://www.karinaleal.com/kingspoint

Boynton Beach is also a great city with many options.
