Daniel, As our daughter transitioning from private to public school in Montgomery county, we have been searching and comparing the schools. We compared the number students per class, teachers, parents review about the principals and more. All schools in Montgomery are great schools, however, some zip codes are score higher than others due to the Math, and Reading scores. If you would like to learn more about Montgomery schools, please visit

In addition, I would be glad to share our experience, and send you school snapshots in pdf version.

REALTORS are not allowed to determine which are the "Best" Schools as it could be considered a fair Housing violation and is against the law.
There is a website called that compares schools.
Be careful of any REALTOR that tries to tell you which schools are bad or not bad. This could be considered "steering".

Hi Daniel,

Go to my website and click on the left-hand button labeled "Schools". It will route you to a non-partisan analysis of school performance throughout Maryland. This should help you make an informed & objective decision.
