1. LISTENING, not just hearing. She only showed us the properties we truly wanted to look at and that fit our criteria.
2. TRUSTWORTHINESS. This wasn't through any single thing she did; we just got on with her very well and through her daily activities, we could see that she was very trustworthy and reliable
3. COMPETENT. At the time, I did not realize everything that went into the sale of a house (we were first time buyers when we met her). She handled everything beautifully and smoothly but it wasn't until after the fact that I realized just how much work she had done to make sure that transaction went so smoothly and we didn't have to worry about anything.
A couple of negative things were that she was always a few minutes late and sometimes she didn't answer her phone very well or get back to me for a day or two. However, because of the above positive points, these things really were not important. In the end, we were 100% satisfied with her and have referred MANY clients to her. Good luck!
Ooh, I am sometimes a few minutes late...you know, we're always trying to find one more home, or get the map to print out, or answering that unexpected call. And I do always call the client if I am going to be more than 3 or 4 minutes late! But this is a head's up for me on how a client might view even the smallest amount of tardiness, and I value your gift of truth to me.
