Foreclosure in Orlando>Question Details

Tony, Other/Just Looking in Rochester, MN

Looking to rent a house in a good area in orlando.

Asked by Tony, Rochester, MN Tue Dec 25, 2007

I've looked at a lot of sites offering rentals. Not sure which way to go...I've got the feeling that a property management company might be a good way to go just to ensure that things go smoothly. Don't want to get evicted due to foreclosure or whatever. Don't want to buy as we aren't sure where we'll end up, of course someplace centrally located wouldn't be bad. Also, my FICO isn't great...600 or so. Wifes is much better.

Any thoughts? Advice?

Hi well I think you are the right track with the property manager, actually I have a 3/2/2 with Den home for rent in the Ocoee area listed with a property manager if you are interested. Look on homevest realty website for the listing it is the only home in ocoee for rent on their website. If you are interested contact the property manager.

Property Management Companies are a great source for rental properties in the area. Having a professional in the middle can minimize the risk. Unfortunately we are seeing an increase of tenants being evicted due to foreclosures. Just might have to do a little more research to see how stable an owner is with their mortgage. If they purchased the home at $400K 2 years ago and is renting the property for $1400 then there maybe some need for concern. However, if the home was purchased several years ago, at a reasonable amount, you might have found a less risky rental.
