How strict are the HFDC income restricted purchase apartments. Most of the have a max income for a single

person at 64K, I make 69K. Is it worth exploring or should I just continue to save my pennies?

The rules are strict. You would not get past the application. However, not in every part of the city is the income guideline $64,560 for one person. It varies for different neighborhoods.

Da law...is da law....and they will come back after you. Unless you are self employed (1099) and your GROSS is $69K but your net is under $64K then you need to forget it.
If you get a W2 and it has $69K on it...move on
