Also, DO NOT trust any realtors in Deming NM.
Please do your homework. I did, and I am fortunate that I did.
I know of many others who didn't do their homework and sorely regret it.
DO NOT TRUST THE REALTORS IN DEMING NEW MEXICO.
Good luck.

Seems as though most folks I know who have tracts there inherited them.
Has ANYONE purchased a Deming Ranchette tract recently?

if you have a lot and want to sell it i live around deming and am looking for a cheap lot there to park when i am in the area. I am only offerring 600 per lot and thats on approval, but there are many vacant lands here and more every day. as one writer mentioned below, the taxes on land some have never seen can become tedious over the years. my handle at gmail is luxefaire, write me there if anyone is interested. some people here have donated their land to churches or other charities which i guess are exempt from the taxes.....bill

Back when they started to develop that area we bought one acre lot.We have never even been there, and to this day we do not even know why be bought that. Anyway we live in North Carolina and Florida, and might never seen that place after all. As far as we know, that land has not appreciated in value to any significant degree. From the pis it seems like a very desolate, barren place. Might try to sale it any day. Tired of paying taxes on that place.

I purchased two lots back in 2003. Six months after purchase the city changed the zoning and most of the people who bought land got screwed. Landowners now need two acres to drill a well and one acre to build.
