Ernest George, Home Buyer in 71115

My wife and I want to buy a house in New Orleans but we are 4 hours away. Is there any program to help us.?

Asked by Ernest George, 71115 Wed Feb 18, 2009

My wifes' job is in another city but we want to go back home. Her division with the bank is not going back. The house we found is 80% renovated and the materials that were being used to complete the renovation are still there on the property. We would need a small loan to modify some areas and finish others also buy appliances. The price is great and the square footage is good. 2800sq. ft for 120k. Please give your advice.

There is a loan called a 203K which is used for properties that need renovation. I suggest you contact a local realtor who can get you through the process by "long distance" I work in the New orleans metro area and would be glad to assist you. Please feel free to contact me at any time.
