This home has been on the market for quiet a while Pramila. It was over priced for the market, but now it is realistic. The best way to see if you really like the home is to see it inside and out. If you are ready to take a look at it, when is the best time for you? I work 7 days a week, so I am flexible. Get in touch with me, and I'll arrange a showing for you. There are other properties in the area you can look at also.
My contact info is:
Old West Realty Inc.
In the case of this home, in the last 90 days within 1 mile of it, comparable homes listed for an average $606,566 and sold for an average $592,500.
This home has been for sale for a long time. It was first listed in July 2008 at $729,000. It was reduced several times, most recently to $595,000 on 2/12/09. One drawback is that it's awfully close to the freeway. Without seeing the home in person it's hard to be specific, but I'd guess it could be bought for something less, maybe in the $585-$590,000 range.
I can prepare a market analysis for you and show it to you of course. The most important thing to remember is that you do need independent representation (that means you need an agent other than the listing agent). Any reputable Realtor who works the San Ramon market (like me) should be able to help.

However, since the Seller pays the commission to the Buyer's Agent there really is no reason not to get professional guidance when purchasing a home such as this one, after all, the Seller has professional representation – you should too!
I can show you this home, and any others you might be interested in, as soon as tomorrow if you like.
Best Regards, Steve
