Find a vacant home and offer cash for a quick close. You can be moved in by Friday.

Not sure what your definition of quickly is.....2weeks, 1week, 2 months, 6months....no matter though...
1. Get preapproved.
2. Get a realtor.
3. Look at vacant homes.
4. You may be able to rent for a short time the house you buy.
If the house is vacant you could theoretically move in the day you sign the sales agreement, before closing.
This of course has to be agreeable with the seller and written into the contract.

Ask an agent to tell you about vacant homes that have been on the market for a long time and homes that offer lease options. Work with your agent to find win-win solutions for everyone.
Good luck,

1) Get preapproved
2) Find a home about 20% less than you can afford based on the preapproval
3) Once you find the home, go back to your mortgage broker(s) to see who can give you the best rate / terms for the money with no points/no origination.
4) Evaluate #3, and repeat 2 and 3 until you get what you want. The secret is have a systematic approach, with a definite achievable goal in mind

Hi Kasey, your first step is to get pre-approved so you only look at homes you can afford. Second, visit http://www.remax.com to find a local professional who will point you to a trusted mortgage professional and then find you your dream home.

Although a credit score is a determining factor, with a down payment and compensating factors you can easily qualify for a home. If you check with a mortgage broker your credit might be able to fixed short term. I have seen many clients improve there score within a week or 2 with a goodd mortgage agent. There are some small things you do get some quick points on your score.

If you build a plan and execute it i think you will be able to get a house fast. If you need a referal feel free to drop me a line,

And Good luck
