First, what are updated houses for selling in the area? Second, how much needs to be invested to make it an updated house to fit that neighborhood price.
If you are buying, as suggested in the reference in the property, as an investor, you know that the two things driving this market are price and staging (updating). If the price is not a bargain or the house updated, the house does not sell or sell quickly.
I agree with the others, if you are looking as a potential home owner resident, you should get an agent that represents you for advice.

If you're asking if the price should be lowered, you should consult with your Realtor for advice like this.
The home at 530 West Wildwood Drive did go through a price change back on 2/16/09. It is currently listed at $94,900.
