Juan S., Home Buyer in 93622

Typically after an offer is made on the home, does the listing price drop?

Asked by Juan S., 93622 Mon Feb 16, 2009

i was looking at a home listed for $124,500; at the viewing the agent said the home already had an offer in and was basically sold; but I noticed that a week later the home was still listed but the price had dropped to $120,100. Is that normal, or is the listing agent being dishonest??

Unless all documents, calls and etc were made to piece together the dots difficult to state.

If an offer was submitted buyer withdrew the sales agreement could be reduced list price.
