Has the real estate market hit bottom (prices) or will they continue to decline?

Nancy , answers should be interesting. No one knows. BUT i find the market turning right now. These past few weeks, more activities, contracts and closings. I find the market is moving as it should - from the low end homes first.
I'm busy, and positive about the near and future of real estate. Not only in Whiting but in all Ocean county. I have been in the business since the 60's. My dad and mom before me and grrandmother since 1928.

I don't think we've hit bottom, look at the inventory, short sales and REOs.

Nancy, you know that real estate market has hit bottom when prices start going up; you may want to advice your buyers to "stop chasing the market".
