Help the community by answering this question:

Hi Neha,

I want to introduce you to another great town to live in-Cranbury, NJ. It has convenient public transportation to NYC - It's 10-15 minutes to Princeton Junction train station and there is also very good bus service from the Park and Ride on Route 130 that's located only 5 minutes from the center of town. In addition, there is excellent access to the NJ Turnpike, exit 8A.

There isn't a lot of new construction in Cranbury but there are some new-ish homes that you might consider. It depends on your price range. Also, if schools are a consideration, Cranbury has one of the best in the area.

My office will be opening a new home community soon in East Windsor with new single family homes on half acre lots in the $400's. If you wish to get on the "Early Bird" list to receive information and be among the first to be invited to special pre-construction offerings, please email your request to bob@robertbrunorealtor.com. I will add your name and email address to our list of Early Bird prospects and send you more information such as floor plans, renderings as it becomes available from the builder.

Hi Neha,
Generally speaking, the more north you go , so does the price range & this difference is pretty obvious for newer homes.
There is no new construction in our area..........I've been selling real estate here for about 7 years .

The Princeton junction estates community is the newest in terms of being close to the train station.

That too is about 2-4 years old for single family & townhomes in the $500K+ range.

The train station parking area in Princeton Junction is under redevelopment & since parking is not assigned, you can get a spot depending on when you get there.

The later you do the more you'll have to walk to the train station , in terms of parking space.

The same is true for Hamilton, which also has a parking deck.......and this too can fill up quickly.

There are shuttles to the train station in West WIndsor /Princeton Junction & Plainsboro, depending on the community......there are commuter shuttle buses from different locations.

For specifics on communities or availability, please email directly.

Hi Neha, There is a cluster of new Pulte homes coming in Basking Ridge New Jersey which is a great community about mid distance between Princeton and NYC. Basking Ridge has many, many positve attributes - including two train stations and bus service to the city. Schools are among the best, and you are close to shopping and highways. It has a charming downtown area all its own and is close to other communities with town centers - like Bernardsville. There's also several new clusters of homes at various price points in Warren, which is situated right across 78 from Basking Ridge.

There are also one-offs here and there in these two communities and others that would fit your location criteria.

Let me hear from you Neha, send along your email address and I'll send you further details.

Are you looking to be in a new home community, or you just want a home that was newly built? Location wise, Metropark in Edison will get you both to your destinations in under an hour. There are new construction homes in North Edison ranging from 800k to 1.8 mil. Is that in your budget? If you need any help with the area, feel free to contact me.

Princeton Junction and surrounding areas has new homes by Toll Brothers, Centex, KOR, and KHov, just to name a few. Depending on how close to the station you want to be will depend on who's homes you're looking at. However, be aware that the Princeton Junction train station has no room for new communters when it comes to parking. If you don't have someone who can take you back and forth then you have to do one of a couple things. First, look at the new construction on Bear Brook Road as it's literally in walking distance of the train station. Or you can look at places like Plainsboro that has commuter buses that will trainsport you over to the station as well.

Otherwise, Hamilton Township might be another option. It has a fairly new train station, plenty of new construction in the area, and is another hot spot for NYC commuters. Plus you'll find the homes and taxes might be a little cheaper.

Reach out if you have any further questions...or if you're already working with a Realtor, good luck!

Also, does new mean brand new or built within the past, say 5-8 years? Are you also considering townhomes or free standing homes within a townhome development?
