The best place to invest is in Montauk, the prices out here stay stable or increase because we are a vacation area. You can email me for best listings: broker@marthagreene.com or virginiahessler@yahoo.com

H Art:

Since you have not had an Hamptons Realtor answering your question and only if you want to - my company has a relocation director, who was a Realtor for my company before and has been helping my company's realtors' clients relocating in and out of the area. She receives rave reviews for her work about what shes does for us.

I am sure she can find a good Realtor in the Hamptons to give you advise on what to do and you can decide from there. Anyway, if you want to, please contact me; and I can set you up with her.

Best,
Sylvia

Hi Mark, is there a place called "the Hamptons" in Florida also? Just wondering, I guess there must be or you wouldn't have asked the OP to contact you?

I'm probably as close as you're going to get. I'm on the North Fork. If you want to get the most for your 1 to 1.5m, the North Fork would be a much better place to invest.

If you are NYC based and looking for a weekend retreat, I would look to the Jersey Shore. Easier commute, better value, more options in lifestyle.
