There are several rentals in the area - as Dana correctly suggested, you would be best to work with a local Realtor. We are based in Pembroke Pines, the next town over and are very familiar with all the communities in Miramar. You would want to be in West Miramar to be close to Everglades. By the way - it's a nice school - only a few years old.
You should expect to provide a background and credit check as well as be able to come up with 3 months of rent to move in. A landlord usually wants 1st, last and security deposit. If I can help you find some rentals, I'd be happy to help. Feel free to contact me.
Best of luck to you,
Villa G Realty, Inc.
1. Contact a local agent who can find rentals on the MLS. However, not all companies list rental apartments( mine only handles rental houses)2. Contact the apartment management company or leasing office for apartment buildings in the area you want.3. Check the local classifieds
