Chris, Home Buyer in Royal Oak, MI

My buyer's agent statement was mostly in response to Derek who suggested that I might have lost a great deal

Asked by Chris, Royal Oak, MI Sat Feb 28, 2009

because of a greedy double-dipping seller's agent who may not have presented my $32K higher, first in, offer to the bank/seller. The house was a foreclosured rental property that one of my former neighbors, a licensed contractor was very familiar with. She said she doubted that there would have been an inspection issue.

I don't think you will find an agent in Michigan who would recommend you do anything other than have a buyer's agent to represent you.

Please don't put words in my mouth ... I said you had reasons to be frustrated and want more information. I did not say or even suggest anything shady happened. I simply reinforced your having a valid reason for concern, and would have your agent look into it. Period.
