Lissette,
At this time, only REALTORs may post listings to Tulia. Honestly, to sell your home quickly for the best price, you should consult a local REALTOR. The fees charged will probably save you money on that bottom line net (profit) to you. A REALTOR has all the resources necessary to market your property effectively at his/her fingertips. Ask friends and family for referrals to find a good one in your area. Best of luck!

Hi Lissette,

The listings featured on Trulia have been extracted from indexed broker/agent web pages. Please forward the following information to your realtor so he or she can submit your listing to Trulia:

There are two ways to get your listings on Trulia. You can submit your web site address for crawling by the Trulia search engine or if you are familiar with xml you can prepare and submit a listing data feed with your listing information.

Please access the link below to review your options and please feel free to contact us with any further questions.

Best Wishes,

You should hire a real estate professional, but you can also place free ads in places like http://www.zillow.com and craigslist.org.

At this time Trulia is only accepting Realtors ads. To piggyback on Bridgett's answer if you want to sell you home quickly you should contact a local Realtor in your area.

You should use a Realtor as we have access to most of the websites that offer housing. Additionally, marketing is what we do and if time is of the essence for you in this case then we certainly have the tools to get the job done. I am available 7 days a week so if you have a question you can contact me at smahabir@hillcourtrealty.com

Hi Lissette, your question needs to be directed to Trulia. I suggest you hire a local Realtor who will list in the MLS, build a virtual tour, and advertise the home online like craigslist, livedeal, backweb, etc... Good luck.

Hi Lissette. To answer your question, I can put it on my website, but the best exposure would come when you put you home on the martket using the Multiple Listing Service(MLS).

If you have other questions please email or call me.

Lissette,

I concur with Keith. If you need to sell your home immediately, you should hire a Realtor. Advantages of hiring a Realtor is that they'll market your home more comprehensively than listing it on 1 web site - hopefully, that is. Some real estate agents and Realtors may not be as internet savvy as others, so it's important to choose one with a strong marketing agenda/plan.

As for whether the Queens real estate market is strong or weak, really depends on getting market data from a local Realtor that knows the market and could provide you the comps to help you determine whether it is a "good" time to sell. I understand that you may not have the luxury of waiting.

If you're determined that you want to sell your home yourself, Craig's List is a good resource for you as it's only $10.00 to place an advertisement. You can also try the New York Times online classified - don't have the price info.

Lastly, keep in mind that unless you're available 24/7. Your house will only be on the market when you're available to answer the calls and show your house. A Realtor will show your house - with your permission - when you're at work, away on vacation, etc... A Realtor will also screen the potential buyers to determine the "lookers" from "serious buyers". A Realtor can put your home in front of more potential buyers and provide you countless other services, such as professional photography, co-broking, open houses - which benefits you selling your home in the time you want, for the price you want.

Good luck on selling your home.

Selling your home "as soon as possible" is a special case. I concurr with the other posts. Maximzing your net proceeds while still selling in "under market time" requires skill. By that, I mean that if the average number of days it takes to open escrow in your market is, say 90 days, and you want your home sold in a shorter time frame (say, 30 days), you'll need to select a Realtor that can show you that he/she has a plan that YOU believe will get the job done.

Good luck.
