what is it about the Trulia website that peaks the interest of the consumer?

It is hard to say what really peaks the interest of the consumer. It could be that they can speak with professionals as equals. It could be they can get answers to the tough questions without the hassle of someone wanting to sell them. It could be the professionals and consumers have good ideas and give great input. I would like to see what some of the consumers say!

My feeling is that folks want imediate answers from professionals without being "sold" on using that professional as their agent. I am fairly new to the site, and I love it. Two listings, directly attributed to the site, since I've been on.

I read an article recently stating that a shift was taking place in advertising and marketing whereby consumers were becoming much less responsive to print ads in newspapers and magazines, mass emails and voicemails, mass mailings, radio & TV ads, etc. Seems they want one-on-one interaction (like that available on Trulia). Speed of response is also a key element in this shift (as someone earlier mentioned).
